The recycle shop will give us 4000yen for the fridge, but charge us 7000yen per unit to take the aircon away!! oh no!

Being in the habit of looking at photos before reading the text, I thought “you look really different in that first photo”. The third photo and your description made things clearer.

I didn’t pay attention to the race, but I guess I’m not a Melbourne person like everyone seems to be these days. Cool win, Vivek!

You guys got up to more than we did at work Didn’t even see the race live. We have all these fancy hi-def screens that we research with but no one had a tuner or arial to tune into the broadcast! On the plus side I came third in the $2 sweeps.

[...] We went to the beer festival again this year and hunted down the tequila beer again. At first we couldn’t find it, and feeling thoroughly discouraged, I bought some other beer I saw. Now, I don’t even like beer, and this beer I had confirmed it. Complaining to my friend that we couldn’t find any tequila beer, he was like “oh yeah, i saw that, I’ll try it later”. Alex and I were off in the direction he pointed us in and promptly bought 4 beers as the stocks were running low. The Beer Festival is like a magnet for foreigners, I’m sure at least 50% of the people there were foreigners. I even bumped into a guy that went to my primary school who I had previously bumped into while we were staying at the same hostel in Nagano last December. He doesn’t even live in Osaka.
